Note: This is the smooth barrel type, there is also a full threaded body type.
The wide focal length and fast aperture make the Ysaron 30mm lens attractive, that is on paper at least. For a quick image quality test at 3x I stacked the Ysaron on a Mejiro 90mm line scan lens and it returned sharpness and CA correction that is below average for an industrial lens of this type. Image quality out of this lens is very good, the lens was also easy to extract, and very easy to mount with a 38mm adapter. The test includes a 2500 px sample, email me if you would like to see the full size image.
